Day 67
Departed Oshkosh for 20 minute trip to Lamers Dairy Country Store in Appleton where we had mini ice cream cones with freshly made ice cream on site for 24 cents. We also bought milk. Then we drove 10 minutes to Simon’s Specialty Cheese and bought some cheddar cheese curds which we had for lunch. We checked into the Apple Creek Campground and then headed to Lambeau Field for the 2 hour Legendary Tour. The tour was pretty inclusive with stops on the roof, in the Champions Club, in the visitor’s locker room and on the field. An entertaining guide made it a very pleasant experience even for Rosemary. Dinner at Lorelei Inn, a German restaurant, was good and very filling.
