Day 8.  Thursday, August 2, 2018.  Clarksboro, NJ (Philadelphia)
We took the PATCO train from Woodcrest Station into downtown Philadelphia for the day.  We visit the National Museum of American Jewish History.  We had been here before but the special exhibit on Leonard Bernstein celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth brought us back.  The exhibit was very well done and highlighted how much Bernstein’s music was influenced by the sounds of his Jewish background.  Specifically, the sound of the shofar which is included in West Side Story and in Candide.  Lunch in Chinatown at Penang where we had been before was a bit disappointing but bubble tea at Kung Fu Tea was not.  After a walk through Reading Market and some whiskey samples from Eight Oaks Craft Distillers, we return to the museum for the rest of the day.  On the way walking back to Chinatown for dinner we visited the Liberty Bell.  Dinner at Spice C which we also have been to before and which did not disappoint.
