Day 18, August, 12, 2018. Bathurst, NB to Campbellton, NB
A stop in Dalhousie, NB, for a short walk to view a lighthouse.  Then we continued on to Campbellton, NB, a little more than an hour driving time from Bathurst.  We checked into the Sugarloaf Provincial Park Campground for a full hookup 30 amp site.  A 6 km hike up to Lake Prichard felt a lot longer given the rough, primitive trail and the elevation increase.  Near the lake was a very large black granite headstone of Erasmus Prichard (1840-1917) and his wife and 2 daughters.  Not sure why anyone would want to be buried up there and also wondered how did they get the headstone up the mountain. Back down the trail we took another short hike to a viewpoint of Sugarloaf Mountain, elevation 997 feet, which was only slightly higher than our position.  After dinner we drove into downtown Campbellton and walked along the Restigouche River as the sun was setting over the bridge to Quebec, our destination tomorrow. Alas, we could not find more Tidal Bay wine in Campbellton.
