Day 15, August 9, 2018.  Houlton, ME to Kouchibouguac, NB
A very easy border crossing to begin the drive (about 215 miles) across New Brunswick which was on and off again light rain and overcast.  We managed to eat up all our produce before the crossing so when lunchtime was approaching we stopped a bit East of Moncton at the Green Pig Market and Bakery.  We reloaded our produce and as a bonus, it was National Doughnut Day so I had to get one for after lunch dessert.  We ate lunch in their parking lot before continuing to Bouctouche and a visit to the Irving Eco-Centre “La Dune De Bouctouche”.  One of the few remaining sand dunes on the northeast coast of North America (or so they claim) had a fairly long boardwalk along the dunes out away from the mainland. And RV parking made it an easy visit. We continued north along the coast another 30 miles and checked into the Kouchibouguac National Park Campground.  An after dinner walk around the fairly large campground allowed us to make our 10,000 steps for the first time this trip.
