Day 19, May 16, 2018.  Wednesday.
We departed Budapest at 9:00 am when our hired van picked us up at our hotel for our drive to Prague, Czech Republic.  Although scheduled to arrive at 2:30 pm, with traffic and construction we finally arrive just before 5:00 at our hotel in Prague, the Luxury Family Hotel Royal Palace.  After checking in we walked around the Little Quarter Square and stopped in for dinner at Residence U Cerneho Orla.  I had the veal goulash with dumplings and a Pilsner Urquell.  Prague is known for its pilsner and it did not disappoint.  Rosemary had the lamb shank which was also very good as I had about half of it which I mixed with my goulash sauce.  A stroll after dinner lead us to a gelato place where you can get an unlimited number of flavors in whatever size you order.  A walk to the funicular for a ride up Petrin Hill to Petrin Tower.  The tower was inspired by the Eiffel Tower has 299 steps to the top.  Rosemary made an instant decision to take the elevator, both ways.  The view was spectacular even though just after sunset.  It was quite windy so we could easily feel the sway of the tower.  Walking time 2:07, 8,768 steps.
