Day 55
Visited the Frank Lloyd Wright House and Studio and the Unity Temple in Oak Park, a Chicago suburb. Frank Lloyd Wright designed the house and lived there from 1889 to 1909, his first house. The temple was built in 1905-1908. Lunch was Lola Tining’s Cuisine, a Filipino restaurant. Next we walked around “Old Town” and the Astor District with a stop at La Fournette for a hazelnut beignet. Dinner at another famous pizzeria, Pequods’s Pizza. Again we ordered two small pizzas, and again we had leftovers. Great pizza! Beats NY style.
