A visit to and tour of Taliesin West, the winter home and school of Frank Lloyd Wright, with the weather sunny and a little cool made for a delightful outing. Lunch at Khao Thai & Sushi was good. A seafood dinner outside on the grill at Rosemary and Ron’s and a chicken dinner on the grill at cousins Hunter and Joanie’s made for really good eating over the weekend. A celebration of the 85th birthday of my aunt Nanci (my father’s little sister) on April 15 made for an enjoyable family event. This “campground” was fantastic and I hope to visit again in the future real soon.
We took the morning tour of The Big Room at Kartchner Caverns lasting about 1 hour 45 minutes. The Big Room was fantastic and a must see. I rate it the best caverns we have seen. Unfortunately, no photos allowed so one must visit oneself. An easy drive to cousins Rosemary and Ronald in Scottsdale where we park in their driveway and hookup to 50 amp electric and water. Dinner at Carlos O’Brien’s Mexican Restaurant was good but the company was better.
