Day 28, Wednesday, August, 22, 2018. Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts, QC to Rimouski, QC
We departed Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts and after a 2 hour drive arrived at Reford Gardens / Jardins de Metis, a National Historic Site in Grand Metis, QC. It was a rainy day but after lunch in its parking lot, the rain let up enough to view the beautiful gardens created by Elsie Reford from 1926 to 1958.  The gardens also had a Festival where art exhibits where interspersed with the flora. We then headed to Rimouski an hour drive away where we stayed at the easternmost Walmart of the Gaspe Peninsula. Amazingly, we were one of more than 30 rv’s at the site. We stocked up on groceries at the Walmart and also the Super C next door.
